The Iranian Short “ The Cat and The Mouse” Won the UCCA prize at the 49th “Dei Popli” Film Festival in Italy

ISFC- At the 49th "Dei Popli " Film Festival which was held on 14-21 Nov. , 2008 in Italy , the short film " The Cat And The Mouse " directed by Bijan Zaman Pira and Nahid Qobadi won the UCCA prize ((the Unione Circoli Cinematografici Arci) .

The Jury believed ," For its ability to be narrative and descriptive without passing judgment or being rhetorical; for the bitter discovery of a banality of discomfort and malaise that is as quotidian as it is ignored and or unknown; for the power to denunciate; for the care with which this film was told to us."

It is to be mentioned that among all the short films selected for the International competition , "The Cat &The Mouse"was also screened in twenty cities of Italy.
